Jessica is a Mama, Naturopath and Mother Earth Waste Warrior!
In 2011 Jess started studying Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbal Medicine after suffering with her own health challenges since early childhood and unable to find the answers to heal and thrive. Three years later Jessica graduated with a triple Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbal Medicine and is now a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).
Jessica fell pregnant with her first child in 2014 after 12 months of unsuccessfully trying to conceive. During this time Jessica dedicated her studies to learn all about women's health, hormones and the menstrual cycle in which she successfully conceived naturally without medication or IVF support like her doctor had suggested being her only option. With this newfound fire in her belly that the body could heal itself her obsession for women's hormonal health and fertility was born.
Over the next 2 years Jessica helped countless clients conceive their own babies and helped to heal women's hormonal health ailments.
Being a mum herself, Jessica understood the demands and exhaustion that the female body is put through during pregnancy, labour and birth and so in support she started her own new herbal tea range; Mama + Sprout organic loose leaf tea. Mama + Sprout offers teas for reproductive health, fertility, third trimester labour prep and milk production support to ease through the beautiful journey of motherhood.
Jessica then naturally conceived and delivered her second baby in 2017 and her whole perspective on life changed. With two small children in her care she decided to take a break from Naturopathy and embrace this sacred time while they are so young.
Then in late 2017 when her second child was only a few months old, Jessica was flicking through TV channels when she came across the ABC iview series "War on Waste" and a passion ignited that she never knew existed. From this day on Jessica has been on a mission to live a more sustainable, zero waste and plastic free life, with her two small children and husband in tow.
Jessica has dedicated this space to share the things that might inspire you to also make the small changes to successfully live a zero waste life.
